I've been leading classes of music and movement since 2018, when I started working at Music for Sprouts with Chris Dorman (aka our beloved Mister Chris!).

Since the MFS classroom closed in 2020 I've been bringing kids' music to local libraries, farms, and orchards to connect with Vermont families, and I'm thrilled to be leading classes again for kiddos and their caregivers.

Classes are just about 45 minutes long, and feature exploration of rhythm and movement through scarf play, call and response songs, special instruments, dancing, and other activities. We’ll celebrate the changing of the seasons, and the joyful presence of kiddos at play.

My approach to leading class is rooted in the Music for Sprouts philosophy of "exploring movement, improvisation, and the seasons in a safe space for kiddos to explore their creativity and connect with one another."

You can expect 'traditional' kids' songs, favorite tunes from the Music for Sprouts classroom, and inspired songs written by me, sometimes in the moment!
